What is the Knockout Line?

The Knockout line at Wild Orchard Hemp consists of our brand new HHC-R distillate, paired with live resin – with one exception, which is our Knockout Gummies, that contain 15mg delta 9 THC and 15mg CBD. Otherwise, this series offers a massive selection of vapes that can deliver a phenomenal high and unbelievable flavor, with the latter being possible through the use of live resin terpene extract.

What is HHC-R?

HHC-R, or 9(R)-hexahydrocannabinol, is the “active” version of HHC. The HHC cannabinoid is traditionally made up of two molecules: HHC-R (9r HHC) and HHC-S (Sr HHC). While HHC-R attaches easily to cannabinoid receptors to produce the effects we associate with hexahydrocannabinol, HHC-S has no such ability. The result is a cannabinoid that’s essentially diluted by an inactive cannabinoid molecule. 

HHC-R is the result of purifying the cannabinoid so that only the active component remains. Because of this, HHC-R is far stronger than traditional HHC – and, notably more intoxicating than delta 9 THC, according to its users.

Is HHC-R legal in the United States?

HHC-R is legal according to federal law, as it complies with the 2018 Farm Bill, which permits sales of hemp products that contain a maximum of 0.3% delta 9 THC. But, as you may know, 19 states have prohibited sales of intoxicating cannabinoids, including HHC-R, along with HHC, delta 8, and delta 10. Please check with your state’s laws when it comes to these types of hemp compounds, as we cannot ship our Knockout products to anyone living in a state in which the cannabinoid is banned.

Is it safe to consume HHC-R?

HHC-R is nontoxic to the human body, being a naturally occurring component of the cannabis plant. There are no major risks associated with the cannabinoid, so go ahead and enjoy it however you so choose – as long as it comes from a reputable retailer like Wild Orchard Hemp.

The hemp industry remains largely unregulated in our country, and that means that there’s always the risk of encountering fake products, or products made with low-quality, unhealthy ingredients. Basically, it’s always important to find a brand with a strong reputation, great transparency, and third-party lab reports available on their website.

Keep in mind too that there’s always a risk of mild side effects when taking any intoxicating cannabinoid, which are more likely to occur if you take a large dose, or are a total beginner. How Strong is HHC-R in Terms of its High?

HHC-R is said to be more potent than delta 9 THC. However, since the cannabinoid is so new, we can’t provide a more specific comparison between the two.

Will HHC-R Make Me Fail a Drug Test?

There’s good reason to believe that HHC-R is likely to cause a failed drug test result. All THC cannabinoids metabolize into an enzyme called THC-COOH, which is what drug tests are looking for, rather than THC itself. This means that cannabinoids like delta 8, delta 10, THC-P, etc. can all cause you to fail your test.

While not proven yet, HHC-R likely converts into THC-COOH just like these other cannabinoids. Because of that, we recommend that you totally avoid our Knockout products until after you’re no longer at risk of being tested. 

What is Live Resin?

The use of fresh flower allows for a much higher terpene count, which is why live resin is not only more potent, but more flavorful as well.
