A 510 vape battery is a portable vaping device that contains a rechargeable battery, and has universal compatibility with 510-threaded vape cartridges that contain hemp extracts. Basically, if you’re going to buy a vape cartridge from Wild Orchard Hemp, you will need to buy a 510 vape battery.

The 510 vape battery that we carry at Wild Orchard Hemp is compatible with any 510-threaded vape cart. But, not all devices that use a 510-threaded connection are. For instance, the larger, more powerful vaping devices that are used for vaping nicotine e-liquids are not appropriate for hemp vape carts, because their output is so strong that will burn the cannabinoid and terpene extracts.

Most 510 vape batteries, including the one at Wild Orchard Hemp, use an LED indicator light to show you when your battery is running low. This way, you’ll know that it’s time to plug your device into the USB charger. Another sign that your battery is running low is weak vapor output, despite still having vape oil in your vape cartridge.

Many 510 vape batteries offer adjustable voltage, so that you can control the power of each hit of vapor. Ours uses a button-based adjustment system, as the single button on the device can adjust the voltage through clicking it three times.

Many vape batteries come with a preheat function that can be activated by clicking the button of the device multiple times – in the case of our vape battery, 5 times. This heats the vape oil before you go to take in a puff, which can loosen the oil up to prevent clogging, and remedy crystallization that can occur due to the high purity of the cannabinoid distillates in our vape carts.

Basically, the higher-quality the vape battery, the longer it will last. That’s why you want to buy a vape battery that is constructed from high-grade materials, and uses a top-notch battery that is designed for longevity. Still, all vape batteries need to be replaced eventually, and when depends on how often you use it, how you store it, and how often you drop it.

We do recommend lightly cleaning your vape battery about once every 2 weeks. This will prevent gunk and debris from getting into the button(s) and interfering with the connections. We suggest using a microfiber cloth dipped in isopropyl alcohol, and making a point to clean around any buttons, while also making a point to clean the connections so that they continue to work.
